We love hearing new voices and fresh perspectives from across the art world. Whether you’re an artist, curator, collector, writer, or creative thinker, ARMATURE welcomes your ideas, stories, and reflections.
There’s no cost to submit, and we’re always open to great writing - from thoughtful essays to interviews, reviews, or reflections on art, tech and culture.

What We’re Looking For
• Original writing - your work should not have been published elsewhere.
• Written in English (British or American spelling is fine, just stay consistent).
• If you’re not a native English speaker, please have your text proofread before sending.
• We love clarity, authenticity, and a strong point of view.
We’re especially interested in pieces that:
• Explore the role of art in society • Highlight artists, exhibitions, and cultural trends
• Examine the intersection of art and technology
• Offer insightful perspectives on collecting, curation, or creative practice
Length & Style
• Short pieces: up to 800 words • In-depth features: up to 2,500 words (by agreement)
• Keep your title short and engaging (no more than 8 words).
• Include your by-line (name, title, and affiliation - e.g. Ava Green, Independent Curator).
• We appreciate clear, accessible language - write as if you’re having a conversation with an informed but curious reader. PUBLIC
How to Format Your Article
• Submit as a Word document (.docx)
• No bold text, footnotes, bullet points, or embedded links
• No paragraph indents - keep it clean and simple
• File name format: YourName_ArticleTitle.docx
• Do not send PDFs Images
• You can include up to three high-quality images with your article.
• Please make sure they are:
• 300 DPI resolution or higher
• In JPEG, TIFF, or PSD format
• CMYK colour format for print
• Not embedded in your Word file
• Also include a separate document with captions and image credits.
• Name your image files clearly, for example: ArticleTitle_Image1.jpg
Images

Copyright & Permissions
• You must hold the rights (or have written permission) for any text or images you send.
• Contributors are responsible for securing all necessary permissions before submission.
How to Submit
• Email your article and images to editor@armature-mag.art
• Include in your email:
• Article title
• Intended section (e.g. Feature, Artist Profile, Opinion, Collector’s View, Art & Tech)
• A short bio (max 80 words)
Editorial Process
Our editorial team reviews all submissions. We’re passionate about championing quality writing, but submission doesn’t guarantee publication - articles are chosen based on originality, relevance, and editorial fit.
If we feel your piece has potential but needs refining, we’ll reach out to discuss edits or possible collaboration.

• You keep the right to share your published article within your own professional and social networks - just credit ARMATURE as the original publisher.
